Coldstream Guards Tunic

A Coldstream Guards guardsman's ceremonial jacket. Red Melton wool jacket with black facings, white piping, embroidered CG insignia and staybrite CG buttons.

 Sizes:     Jacket approx  34/35" chest. Actual measurements are:

Chest Width (laid flat):             18"
Shoulder:                                 15"
Jacket Waist (width, laid flat):  15"  (max 28" waist)
Length:                                     29"
Sleeve:                                     25"
Collar:                                      14.5"

Condition:     Very good. Only light wear. Clean and damage free. The red of the collar badges is faded and some of the buttons are loosely stitched and would benefit from extra stitching to strengthen.

Condition:     Very good. Only light wear. Clean and damage free. The only slight issue is some wear to left shoulder strap.

Condition:     Two issues - there are very notiecable marks on the right arm (see photo). With care and a little effort these could be removed/considerably reduced. Also, MOD disposals have been over-enthusiastic with their cutting - a large cut at the 3rd button (see photo). Could be repaired reasonably discretely. Otherwise the jacket is in very good condition!
