Royal Engineer Capt SD Uniform
A British Army officer's service dress uniform by Gieves & Hawkes consisting of jacket and trousers (shirt, tie, braces and belts available as options). Jacket has staybrite RE buttons, Captain's rank, bronzed RE collar badges and lanyard. Trousers are zip fly with braces buttons (rear 2 missing), side waist adjusters and button-down belt loops..

NB: Add a modern FAD shirt, wool tie, leather Sam Browne belt or grey braces - select from options above.

Date:         1977

Sizes:       Jacket approx 37/39" chest. Trousers approx 33" waist*. Actual measurements are:

Chest Width (laid flat):              20"

Shoulder:                                  17"

Jacket Waist (width, laid flat):   17.4"  (max 34" waist)

Length:                                      30.5"

Sleeve:                                      25.5"

Trouser waist::                          33" (+2.5" to let out)

Inside Leg:                                30" (+2.5" to let down)

Condition:       Jacket has a hole (approx 1cm x 5mm) on rear shoulder behind lanyard (see photo) and two pinhead-sized holes on right upper arm. Similar hole on trouser front pocket. No other damage. Only light wear. 

Shirts and ties are new. Braces used grade 1 condition. Sam Brownes are used and condition varies. .
